The point of the wiki I have created, is to offer information about Vampires through out History; to expand out knowledge of the creatures, and allow you to understand your favorite Vampire based books, movies, and games better. I have wiki links here to take you to different pages, all dedicated to different aspects of Vampires, plus links to Vampire Related sites. I hope to add more soon. Until then, please, join me in my quest for knowledge, and become a member.

VAMPIRES

Vampire-"1. A bloodsucking ghost or reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave and wander about by night sucking the blood of persons asleep.
2. One who lives by preying on others; a bloodsucker..."

--Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary

When and were did vampire myths begin? As with many legends, the exact date of origin is unknown; but evidence of the vampire tale can be found with the ancient Chaldeans in Mesopotamia, near the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers, and with Assyrian writings on clay or stone tablets. Over many many centuries, the myth evolved to become what we see in today's media. Please continue to learn more.

We here support Vampires, those in books, movies, and real life.

Our Ignorance

A most interesting read on what we, as Humans, perceive Vampires to be throughout history. This is truly worth the read.

RaineDrop's page!

My book, all about Vampires, Witches, and Lycan. If you are *really* bored, read it. I love feedback on it. (^_^)
